This song is all about when I was a kid and they built the new housing scheme destroying a whole community structure. Everyone living in the same flats all concrete and cold impersonal. In my way I try to explain my vision of what I saw at that time going on around me. Pubs have always been a social friendly gathering place. But when you live in these council flats you go down the Pub as an escape to forget for a moment. This melody is dedicated to the children of India. I was born in Calcutta I'm whatpeople call an Anglo Indian . Except the fact my dad is of French origin. So there was a lot of talk about India when I was a kid. I started writing this style of music very early this style of guitar playing always brings me back to India.
